So about me ...

On the blog, I go by Duckie and I am currently a student, but I have always been an avid crafter, seamstress, crocheter, and dabbler.  That's where my blog name comes from, I love to dabble in things and try out new things.  I am super into pin-up and retro art and I love to doodle as well.  Pinterest is my kryptonite and I can spend forever searching and gathering ideas for new things.

I am engaged to a wonderful man, on the blog known as Duck, and he in turn feeds my addiction to crafts and books, all the while trying to help me corral my ever escalating amount of supplies that are starting to burst out at the seams.

I have two little "helpers" ...

A lot of help they are ... hehe

Maya gives me a lot of moral support.  She is the stoic one who watches from a far, or sometimes in my lap.  She is my older helper and is content to observe.

Boo is my mischief maker.  She has to have her paws in everything and is constantly getting into stuff she isn't supposed to. She is still only a kitten in our minds (she is just turning 2!) but she is already the bigger kitty cat.

So yeah, that's my little family ... they are what keeps me going. :)
